Age of Innovation is a standalone game set in the world of Terra Mystica.
Twelve factions, each with unique characteristics, populate the world. You control one of the factions and terraform the terrain so that you can place buildings and cities there. Proximity to other factions limits your expansion, but also gives you significant advantages throughout the game.
Upgrade your buildings to get valuable resources such as tools, scholars, money, and power. Build schools to progress in different sciences and collect books that you use for innovations. Build your palace to gain a powerful new ability, or build workshops, guilds and universities to complete your culture. There is work to be done.
