During the game Nusfjord you place workers on the central game board to activate actions. If you visit the village elders to take actions in the village, you must donate part of your catch to them.

Money is scarce during the game. One way to get it faster is to put shares of your own company on the market. This risky action may be worth it. However, if an opponent acquires the shares, you let him benefit from your hard-earned catches at sea.

The Nusfjord Big Box contains the basic game, two previously released expansions 'Plaice deck' and 'Salmon deck', two new expansions 'Trout deck' and 'Besoekende deck' and some extra components including new 'guest meeples'.
